Originally founded as Fellows & Ramsay in 1999, the Ramsay Group’s first and principal trading business, is now one of the UK's largest privately owned architectural metal fabricators with production facilities across the West Midlands. With early investment in machinery, people and desire to bring a unique customer-oriented approach, the business began collaborating with clients to deliver bespoke metalwork products at varying scales.

The business was growing organically due to its cementing of long-term client partnerships and consistent delivery of quality products; more craftsmen were joining and workload was increasing due to demand for services across various sectors. The company implemented lean manufacturing principles and processes, further invested in new industrial machinery, equipment and technology to improve productivity and turnaround times (TAT).
Expansion
2019
With a unique identity and recognised for quality craftmanship, there was increasing demand to provide a turnkey service and wider product range. The company invested further capital in facilities to diversify operations together with the completion of several mergers, acquisitions and joint venture partnerships with specialisms in wood, glass, stone, ceramics and upholstery - the business began accessing new markets while retaining control over quality.
